This capstone course brings together all aspects of recommender systems development. Students work on a comprehensive case study requiring analysis of recommender goals, algorithm performance evaluation, and system design justification. The course offers two tracks: an honors track focusing on experimental evaluation with medium-sized datasets, and a standard track incorporating provided results and spreadsheet analysis. Both tracks culminate in a detailed report documenting analysis, solution selection, and implementation justification.
