Master AI tools to enhance legal writing, public speaking, and creative problem-solving while maintaining critical thinking skills for legal professionals.
This course, the second in the "AI for Lawyers and Other Advocates" specialization, focuses on leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance two essential skills for legal professionals: communication and creativity. Participants learn practical approaches to using AI for improving written communications, developing more effective presentations, and enhancing problem-solving capabilities. The program is designed to help legal advocates harness AI's potential while avoiding the common pitfall of "intellectual autopilot" - becoming overly dependent on AI and allowing personal creative and analytical skills to diminish. Through hands-on exercises and theoretical exploration, the course balances technological adoption with maintaining the human elements that are crucial to effective advocacy. Students engage with concepts like drafting and editing with AI, finding their unique voice, and adapting language for maximum impact.
