Through her consulting firm Nelson Hart LLC, she helps organizations develop workplaces where individuals flourish and organizations thrive, while maintaining active involvement in academia supporting graduate research. Her expertise particularly shines in applying positive psychology to workplace development, demonstrated through her leadership of webinars on workplace happiness and her founding membership in both the Centre for Applied Positive Psychology and International Positive Psychology Association. Currently residing in Arlington, Virginia, she continues to advance organizational development while serving on various boards including the GAVI Fund and providing governance consulting to nonprofits. Her achievements include developing innovative applied positive psychology courses and leading initiatives that show how happy employees are significantly more productive and creative in the workplace.
