His academic journey includes teaching positions at prestigious institutions such as Johns Hopkins University Graduate School, George Mason University Graduate School, Montgomery College, and the New York Institute of Technology. Currently serving as a senior project manager at the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) in Bethesda, MD, Schulman continues to blend practical industry experience with academic excellence. He holds a Master's degree from Long Island University (1970) and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland (1964), and has established himself as a valuable advisor to graduate students while actively participating in curriculum development through various college advisory boards and trade associations like the Associated Builders and Contractors.
