Dr. Andrew Dwyer is a Lecturer in Information Security at Royal Holloway, University of London, where he focuses on the intersection of social sciences and cybersecurity. Appointed in 2022, he brings significant expertise in ethnographic and participatory research methods to explore the political and ethical dimensions of information security management. His recent research investigates decision-making processes mediated by computation, the implications of state cyber operations, and critical approaches to cybersecurity studies. Beyond his academic role, Dr. Dwyer leads the UK Offensive Cyber Working Group and has held research positions at prestigious institutions such as the University of Bristol and Durham University.
