Dr. Peffer is particularly interested in utilizing educational technologies, such as simulations and serious games, to assess knowledge and beliefs about science. She recently published "Biology Everywhere: How the Science of Life Matters to Everyday Life," which highlights the applications of biology in everyday experiences. Her courses include "Biology Everywhere Foundations," "Designing Effective Science Communication," and "The Big Stuff: Evolution and Ecology."
