Kimberly Jones is the Senior Director of Enterprise Talent Strategy at the University of California, Irvine, where she also serves as an Instructor teaching a course in Technology Applications in Talent Management in the Department of Continuing Education. Prior to joining UCI, Kimberly held various talent acquisition roles with global organizations such as Nationwide Insurance, Honda, Raytheon, GE Aviation, Northrop Grumman, and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. She has led talent acquisition teams across multiple career disciplines, including Accounting, Actuary, Engineering, Science, and Operations, and has staffed positions on all seven continents, including a notable 6-week deployment to Antarctica with 3 days at the South Pole. Kimberly also previously held a Top Secret Security Clearance. After more than 20 years in corporate roles, she founded Kelton Legend in February 2017, a talent acquisition consulting firm specializing in strategy, process, resource management, diversity, career coaching, and HR technology. Kelton Legend partners with several technology companies in the talent acquisition space. Kimberly is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, including those hosted by the National Diversity Council, ERE, Smart Recruiters, and the Human Capital Institute. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Wilberforce University, a PMP certification, and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
