Additionally, he studied International Business at Lappeenranta University of Technology in Finland and led a capstone project for a European Fortune 500 technology company.

Cleveland is a sought-after keynote speaker, having presented at notable events including Net Impact and the Ahwahnee Conference. He earned his MBA in strategic management and finance from UC Davis Graduate School of Management and his PhD in social entrepreneurship from the same institution. His research interests encompass public/private partnerships, entrepreneurship, network analysis, and innovation.
