He co-developed the pioneering course "Information Technology in Engineering Design" in 2002, aimed at preparing engineering students for the transformative impact of information technology in their future workplaces. Dr. English believes in fostering a continuous learning environment, viewing himself as a coach who encourages students to cultivate curiosity and enthusiasm for their subjects, thus equipping them with skills for lifelong learning beyond the classroom.
