Dr. Upadhyaya has been teaching computer security since 2001, emphasizing the fundamentals of the field and their practical applications in his courses.With a prolific academic output, Dr. Upadhyaya has authored over 300 articles in refereed journals and conferences, contributing significantly to the body of knowledge in cybersecurity. He developed one of the first public courses on Coursera, "Digital Manufacturing Security," which reflects his commitment to advancing education in this critical area. Recognized for his contributions to cybersecurity, he received the IEEE Region 1 Technological Innovation in Academic Award in 2018 and is a Fellow of IEEE. Through his work, Dr. Upadhyaya aims to enhance the understanding and implementation of cybersecurity measures across various industries, preparing students for the challenges they will face in the digital age.
