Dr. Laly Catalina Peralta González is a professor with a PhD in Humanities, specializing in transitional justice, truth commissions, and the right to truth. With 13 years of experience in research and teaching at undergraduate, graduate, master's, and doctoral levels, she has worked in academic settings in Canada, Colombia, and Germany. She has extensive experience securing international funding and currently leads two research projects funded by Minciencias and the Universidad del Rosario, focusing on the legitimacy of hearings in the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP) and the participation of ex-combatants in Colombia’s Comprehensive System of Truth, Justice, Reparation, and Non-Repetition.
