The curriculum explores innovation as a structural alternative for generating superior value and economic performance, based on the understanding that modern consumers continuously seek novel products and services to solve their problems more efficiently. With a primary focus on manufacturing companies, the course takes a holistic approach that examines both organizational structure and production lines, while also emphasizing the human element—recognizing that individuals and their interactions are the true drivers of innovation. Using Alpina Productos Alimenticios S.A. BIC (one of Colombia's top 10 food and beverage companies) as a case study, you'll explore theoretical concepts of innovation, agile methodologies for practical application, and the critical role of leadership and collaborative work in complex environments to sustain innovative cultures. By the end of the course, you'll understand innovation's role in business strategy and possess tools to manage innovative processes in your organization.

Her primary research focuses on analyzing knowledge flows within industrial innovation networks. Currently, she serves as the Director of the Center for Innovation at the School of Management at Universidad del Rosario.
