Ana Isabel Gómez is a medical doctor with specialties in pediatrics, public health management, and medical health law from Universidad del Rosario. She holds a Master's degree in bioethics from Universidad El Bosque and a doctorate in legal sciences from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Currently serving as the academic vice-dean of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences (EMCS) at Universidad del Rosario, she is also a co-director of the specialization in Medical Health Law and the Master's program in Bioderecho and Bioethics. Her academic and professional experience includes roles such as department head, program director, and clinic manager. She is an active researcher in medical education, bioethics, and bioderecho, contributing to international projects like Tuning América Latina and 6X4 UEALC. Ana Isabel Gómez is also a speaker on bioethics, bioderecho, and medical education topics.
