Dr. Weiping Jin is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Economics, School of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University, where he has been teaching since 2017. He earned his Ph.D. in Theoretical Economics from Nankai University in 2006 and has a strong background in macroeconomics, particularly focusing on Keynesian economics and monetary theory. Prior to his current position, he served as a lecturer at Tsinghua University from 2009 to 2017 and completed postdoctoral research at Tsinghua's Philosophy Postdoctoral Mobile Station. Dr. Jin has also been a visiting scholar at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His teaching portfolio includes various undergraduate courses such as Principles of Economics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, and China Economic Analysis, which have received high recommendations from students. He is actively involved in research that addresses key economic issues and contributes to the academic community through his publications and participation in conferences related to macroeconomic theory and policy.
