Jeffrey R. Chasnov is a Professor of Mathematics at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he has been teaching since 1993. An expatriate American originally from New York and California, he earned his BA from UC Berkeley and his PhD from Columbia University. Dr. Chasnov has completed post-doctoral fellowships at NASA, Stanford, and in Grenoble, France, along with a sabbatical semester at Harvey Mudd College.
