Adam Forrester serves as Assistant Dean in the Faculty of Humanities and Senior Teaching Fellow at the English Language Centre at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. As Assistant Dean, he works alongside the Dean and Associate Deans in faculty leadership, while maintaining significant responsibilities at the English Language Centre where he oversees quality assurance and professional development for all credit-bearing subjects. Forrester has led several innovative educational initiatives, including the ELC Open Online Courses and the VR/AR Job interviews project. He directs the major LCR elective ELC2011 and previously led the PolyU team on the HKCPD Hub. His contributions to teaching excellence have been recognized through multiple awards, including a 2022/23 Team Award for Outstanding Performance Achievement. Forrester holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from the University of London and maintains a strong commitment to enhancing teaching and learning through technological innovation and pedagogical development.
