Dr. Svenja Jarchow serves as the Managing Director of the Center for Entrepreneurial and Financial Studies at the Technical University of Munich, combining her expertise in molecular biotechnology with entrepreneurial finance. With a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Molecular Biotechnology and a Doctorate in Management Studies focusing on Entrepreneurial Finance, she leads groundbreaking initiatives at the intersection of science and business. As a post-doc researcher and project leader at the Chair in Entrepreneurial Finance, she heads the BMBF-funded research project 'Biotech Ecosystem Germany' and has developed an innovative edX course program 'Realizing Biotech Innovation - A Business Guide for Scientists.' Her unique background enables her to bridge the gap between scientific innovation and market implementation, helping biotechnology entrepreneurs navigate business challenges and secure financial resources for their ventures

Stefanie Weniger is a doctoral candidate at the Center for Entrepreneurial and Financial Studies at the Technical University of Munich, where she specializes in Corporate Venture Capital research. With a Master's degree in Management Studies, she focuses on understanding the dynamics between entrepreneurs and venture capital financing. Her research examines entrepreneurs' preferences in choosing between corporate and independent venture capital, investigating how ventures' resource needs and exit strategies influence financing decisions. She is passionate about supporting entrepreneurs in bringing their innovations to market and contributes to the development of effective financing strategies for startups. Through her work, she aims to enhance understanding of corporate venture capital's role in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
