A graduate of Hanoi Medical University (MD) and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (MSc in Reproductive Health Research), she has established herself as a leading expert in viral hepatitis and public health initiatives. At Stanford's Asian Liver Center, she leads community outreach programs focused on viral hepatitis B and C testing and education, while serving as a co-instructor for online training programs. Her extensive career includes significant roles with the U.S. CDC, USAID/Pact International, and ChildFund Australia, where she developed expertise in HIV/AIDS and viral hepatitis programs. Dr. Pham excels in quantitative data analytics, predictive modeling, and evidence-based decision-making, while maintaining a strong commitment to mentoring future public health professionals. Her research contributions span reproductive health, infectious diseases, and healthcare policy implementation, particularly focusing on viral hepatitis prevention and treatment in underserved communities.

Dr. Samuel So is a pioneering surgeon and public health advocate who serves as the Lui Hac Minh Professor of Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine. A native of Hong Kong with training from the University of Hong Kong and University of Minnesota, he has transformed the landscape of liver disease treatment and prevention through his roles as founder of Stanford's Multidisciplinary Liver Cancer Program and the Asian Liver Center.
