His clinical expertise spans critical care, hypertension, shock management, cardiorenal syndrome, hepatorenal syndrome, continuous renal replacement therapy, and palliative care. He has earned multiple board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Critical Care Medicine, Nephrology, and Internal Medicine, along with specialist certification in Clinical Hypertension from the American Society of Hypertension. At Stanford, he has made significant contributions to medical education through his roles in the Pre-Clinical Curriculum, Pathophysiology Capstone Course, and the Stanford Undergraduate Pre-Renal Initiative, while maintaining active membership in various professional organizations including the American College of Physicians as a Fellow.
