As a licensed physical therapist in Texas and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Dr. Kabiri has shifted her research focus to explore the role of gratitude in the undergraduate natural science classroom, building on her previous work in pediatric and adolescent health and wellness. Her teaching responsibilities include courses such as Human Physiology, Human Anatomy, and Movement Disorders, where she has developed innovative curricula, including a virtual cadaver dissection laboratory. Recognized for her excellence in teaching, she has received multiple awards and actively participates in various university committees. Beyond academia, Dr. Kabiri contributes to her community through volunteer work with the Houston Food Bank and the Chevron Houston Marathon, while enjoying time with her family in her personal life.
