As a Professional Engineer (P.E.), he has established himself as a leading expert in engineering informatics, multimodal sensing, building information modeling, and artificial intelligence applications in construction. His research integrates cutting-edge technology with traditional civil engineering practices, focusing on advancing the field through digital innovation and smart construction methodologies.

Yuxi Zhang is a doctoral candidate in the Lyles School of Civil Engineering at Purdue University, specializing in advanced construction technologies. Her academic journey includes a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management Engineering from Tianjin University (2016) and a Master's in Civil Engineering from Purdue University (2019). Her research focuses on the intersection of construction engineering and digital technologies, with expertise in image processing, computer vision, building information modeling, and artificial intelligence applications in construction.
