A research assistant at the Water Science and Engineering Section (SIA) of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (DICA) at Politecnico di Milano, she holds a Ph.D. in Environmental and Infrastructure Engineering from the same institution. With teaching experience in Water Engineering and various hydrology, flood risk, and water engineering classes, her primary research focuses on stormwater control and management, nature-based solutions, rainwater harvesting, and analytical-probabilistic approaches for storage modeling. She actively participates in national research projects and has published several articles in refereed scientific journals and symposium proceedings. Additionally, she serves as a reviewer for indexed peer-reviewed international journals, is a review editor for the journal Frontiers in Environmental Science (Water and Wastewater Management), and is a member of the Topical Advisory Panel for the Urban Water Management section of the journal Water. She also supervises public engagement activities related to urban water resource management.
