Dr. Christopher Dreisbach is a multifaceted academic leader serving as the Associate Director of the MS in Organizational Leadership program at Johns Hopkins University's Krieger School of Arts & Sciences, while holding a joint courtesy appointment with JHU's Carey Business School. With over four decades of teaching experience since 1980, he also serves as Professor of Moral and Systematic Theology at St. Mary's Ecumenical Institute. He earned both his MA (1981) and PhD (1988) in philosophy from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Dreisbach's expertise spans ethics, philosophy, and theology, regularly lecturing for law enforcement agencies and religious organizations as an ordained priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Maryland. His scholarly contributions include five notable books on ethics, criminal justice, and theology published between 2009 and 2019, along with numerous articles in prestigious publications covering topics from constitutional literacy to business ethics. His research focuses on public philosophy, with significant contributions to the fields of logic, education, ethics, dream philosophy, R.G. Collingwood's philosophy, and theology. Through his extensive publications in the Baltimore Sun and academic journals, he has addressed crucial societal issues ranging from constitutional literacy in law enforcement to ethical considerations in contemporary politics and society.
