It begins with basic concepts of Supply Chain Management and Value Chain, integrating key business processes that generate value for customers and organizations. You'll learn to develop a supply chain strategy around a product portfolio and competitive strategy, considering efficiency, responsiveness, and risks. The curriculum covers defining key supply chain business processes and establishing metrics to measure their performance. You'll gain the necessary elements to design and manage a distribution network, including inventory management, facilities, and transportation modes. The course also analyzes and explains the causes of the Bullwhip Effect—a problem associated with various phenomena in supply chains with multiple members. This course is part of the edX Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM) Professional Certificate program, an internationally recognized certification offered by ISCEA completely in Spanish. It prepares you for the CSCM exam on edX (also in Spanish) and is a requirement for obtaining ISCEA certification. To become an ISCEA Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM), you must complete all three preparatory courses and successfully pass the CSCM exam. The CSCM certificate is widely recognized globally as it guarantees that its holder is capable of managing and directing supply chain activities in organizations.
