His work at the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, UK Energy Research Centre, and Royal Society of Chemistry has shaped energy policy and market transformation initiatives. His journey began as a research chemist at Sellafield's nuclear laboratory before transitioning to sustainable energy, where he now leads research on smart local energy systems through the UK Energy Revolution Research Consortium. As Deputy Chair of UK Power Networks' Customer Engagement Group and former Non-Executive Director of Public Power Solutions, he continues to influence the transformation of energy markets while maintaining his commitment to developing innovative solutions for a zero-carbon future.
