Dr. Benny Lo holds a BASc in Electrical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, an MSc in Computer Vision from King's College London, and a PhD in Computing from Imperial College London. He is a Senior Lecturer at the Hamlyn Centre for Robotic Surgery at Imperial College London and chairs the IEEE EMB Technical Committee on Wearable Biomedical Sensors and Systems. With a focus on body sensor networks, AI, and biomedical engineering, he has published over 200 research articles and earned multiple awards for his innovative work, including Bluetooth Innovator of the Year.
