Public Policy Education and Government Leadership Expert at Georgetown University

Lynn C. Ross serves as Teaching Professor and Faculty Director of the Master of Policy Management Program at Georgetown University's McCourt School of Public Policy, where her excellence in teaching was recognized with the 2014 Leslie Whittington Award. After earning her BA from Binghamton University, MPA from Syracuse University's Maxwell School, and PhD in American Government from Georgetown University, she built a distinguished career including nearly 15 years in federal service. Her government experience includes serving as a Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Office of Personnel Management and working in the Office of Management and Budget's Executive Office of the President, where she completed the Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program. Her current work combines academic leadership with practical training, including preparing foreign service officers at the State Department's National Foreign Affairs Training Center and developing executive leadership programs for federal agencies. Her expertise spans public management, executive branch politics, presidential electoral politics, and budgetary policy, while maintaining active engagement with both domestic and international audiences.

Legislative Politics and Public Policy Expert at Georgetown University

Anne Marie Cammisa serves as Director of the Master of Arts Program in American Government and Teaching Professor at Georgetown University, where she holds appointments in both the Department of Government and the McCourt School of Public Policy. Her scholarly impact includes authoring four books, with two receiving high recommendations from Choice magazine and one selected as an "Outstanding Academic Title of 1998." Her expertise in congressional legislative process is demonstrated through her work as a senior fellow at Georgetown's Governmental Affairs Institute, where she directed Capitol Hill seminars and programs. Her professional experience includes serving as a research associate at the Urban Institute and as an American Political Science Association congressional fellow in the offices of Senator Herb Kohl and Congressman Steny Hoyer. Her research focuses primarily on understanding and analyzing the congressional legislative process, combining academic scholarship with practical political experience to provide insights into American governance and public policy formation
