His distinguished career includes serving as Head of Research at Ghana's Health Training Institutions Secretariat and conducting PhD research at both the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research and Amsterdam Institute for Global Health and Development. With academic credentials including a Bachelor's and Master of Philosophy from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a PhD in Global Public Health specializing in Medical Technical Quality from the University of Amsterdam, Dr. Alhassan has established himself as a prominent figure in health systems research. His research interests span communicable and non-communicable diseases, client/community engagement in health, and healthcare quality improvement, contributing significantly to the field through numerous publications indexed in Scopus and documented in his ORCID profile.

Dr. Martin Ayanore currently serves as the Head of the Department of Health Policy Planning and Management at the School of Public Health, University of Health and Allied Sciences in Ho, Ghana, where he holds the position of Senior Lecturer.
