Drs. Berry Nijveld is an Applied Educational Specialist who graduated from the University of Twente, where he studied the characteristics of multimedia self-instruction materials. He began his career as an educational designer and unit manager at Bit-Ic (Cap Gemini) and later served as a management consultant in educational organization and personnel development at PWC. Since joining Risbo in 2003, Berry has concentrated on ICT in education, educational innovation, and quality management. He advises universities, faculties, and teaching departments on developing policies and implementing tools to enhance and ensure teaching quality and accreditation. Additionally, he provides training for teachers in didactic skills and offers individual coaching.
Educational Advisor
Drs. Kris Stabel studied History at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium, where he also obtained an academic teaching qualification. After gaining six years of experience as a teacher in secondary education in Belgium, he moved to the Netherlands. There, he further developed his expertise as an educational project leader with various educational agencies. As a project manager, Kris built up his e-learning expertise, focusing on online teaching for both companies and educational institutions. Since 2014, Kris has worked as an educational advisor at Risbo, where he contributes to the development of online teaching at Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), the creation of MOOCs, and acts as a trainer and coach for the Basic University Teaching Qualification and Senior University Teaching Qualification.
