There are 4 modules in this course
This comprehensive course bridges Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data technologies, equipping students with the skills to develop complete and scalable connected systems. The curriculum is structured around four key modules that build progressively more advanced capabilities. The first module focuses on project management, introducing Git for version control and repository management—essential skills for collaborative development environments. Students learn how to integrate Git with Node-RED, establishing a foundation for organized IoT development. The second module delves into database management, covering both relational databases (MySQL) and non-relational databases (Firebase) within IoT applications. This section also introduces Big Data concepts and explores their relationship with IoT implementations. The third module addresses a critical component of IoT ecosystems: user interfaces. Students learn to develop dashboards using Node-RED, Android Studio, and web technologies, enabling effective user interaction across multiple device types. The final bonus module highlights the integration of Big Data with IoT, covering data processing using Python and Pandas, data visualization with Plotly, and advanced clustering techniques for data mining. Throughout the course, students apply theoretical concepts to practical implementations, gaining valuable experience in developing production-level IoT ecosystems.
