There are 4 modules in this course

This course provides a comprehensive exploration of leadership theories and their practical applications through an international perspective. The curriculum is structured into four main modules that trace the evolution of leadership thinking from traditional views to contemporary approaches. In the first module, you'll examine traditional leadership perspectives, learning about the social phenomenon of leadership through its four key elements, primary leadership models, and theories centered on leader traits. The second module bridges situational leadership and effective leadership, covering behavior-centered leadership approaches, contingent models, and specifically exploring Paul Hersey and Ken Blanchard's situational model. The third module focuses on relationship-centered leadership with emphasis on both leaders and followers, examining transactional leadership, transformational leadership, and distributed leadership concepts. The final module delves into normative (moral) leadership theories, including servant leadership as proposed by Greenleaf, authentic leadership, and being-centered authentic leadership approaches. Throughout the course, you'll apply theoretical concepts to case studies and develop an integrated personal synthesis of leadership models.
