Module Description
This course provides business professionals with essential knowledge about the hardware foundations that support information systems and communication networks. Students will explore the fundamental components of personal computers, including the central processing unit (CPU), memory systems, motherboards, storage devices, and peripheral equipment. The course explains how the binary system works and how different types of information—text, numbers, images, audio, and video—are digitally encoded and processed in computer systems. Participants will gain insights into electronic communications networks, learning about the equipment standards used in both wired and wireless configurations.
