María Teresa Palacios Sanabria is a lawyer specializing in human rights and migration law, with a Master's in Constitutional Law and a Doctorate in Law from the University of Seville. Currently, she is an associate professor and director of the Human Rights Research Group at the Universidad del Rosario, Faculty of Law. A Carolina Foundation Fellow, her research focuses on migrants’ rights, equality, and state sovereignty. She has published extensively on human rights issues and international migration, contributing to academic journals and books on these topics.
