Willem K. Korthals Altes (born 1964) serves as Professor of Land Development at TU Delft's Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, a position he has held since 1997. His academic journey includes a Ph.D. (Cum Laude) from the University of Amsterdam in 1995 on national spatial planning, following research at TU Vienna on urban planning. Before his academic career, he worked as a senior consultant and partner at Ecorys-Kolpron (1995-2003). His research focuses on the complex interactions between planning, property rights, and property markets, particularly examining how government policy interfaces with market interests in modern planning

Tuomas Kuhmonen serves as Research Director at Finland Futures Research Centre, University of Turku, bringing extensive expertise in agricultural policy and rural development. His distinguished career includes professorships in Agricultural Policy at the University of Helsinki and Entrepreneurship at the University of Jyväskylä. His research portfolio encompasses socio-economic transformations, systems thinking, policy studies, sustainability transitions, and evolutionary epistemology, with particular focus on rural futures in developed economies
