Robert D. Austin is a Professor of Management of Creativity and Innovation at Copenhagen Business School. Previously, he taught Technology and Operations Management at Harvard Business School for over a decade. Austin has authored nine books, including Harder Than I Thought: Adventures of a 21st Century Leader (co-authored with Richard L. Nolan and Shannon O’Donnell). His articles have appeared in leading publications such as Harvard Business Review, Information Systems Research, and MIT Sloan Management Review. He has written over 60 Harvard Business School cases and contributed to two widely used online learning products. With a background as a manager in the auto and tech industries, Austin has also provided consulting and executive education for numerous multinational corporations
