Dr. Yannick Radi serves as Professor of Public International Law at the Université catholique de Louvain while holding multiple prestigious positions including membership in the ICSID Panel of Arbitrators and the EU's List of Trade and Sustainable Development Experts. His academic credentials include a PhD and MRes from the European University Institute and an LL.M. from the University Paris II Panthéon-Assas. As an invited Professor at the Hague Academy of International Law and Guest Professor at Sciences Po Law School, he brings extensive expertise in international law to multiple institutions. His research focuses on international investment law, state responsibility, law of treaties, and sustainable development, culminating in his influential 2020 textbook "Rules and Practices of International Investment Law and Arbitration" published by Cambridge University Press. As Editor-in-Chief of the Brill Research Perspectives in International Legal Theory and Practice, he continues to shape scholarly discourse in international law while maintaining an active role in arbitration and dispute settlement. His work spans both theoretical and practical aspects of international law, with particular emphasis on investment law, sustainable development, and space law, demonstrating his commitment to advancing both academic understanding and practical application of international legal principles.
