Throughout his illustrious career, Gary has collaborated with legendary musicians such as Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, and Stan Getz, contributing to the evolution of jazz fusion. He began teaching at Berklee College of Music in 1971, where he later served as dean and executive vice president, influencing countless students through his dedication to music education. Gary authored the course "Jazz Improvisation" for Berklee Online, sharing his expertise with aspiring musicians worldwide.
