Operations Management Scholar Specializing in Supply Chain and Logistics Innovation
Ding Bin serves as an Associate Professor at the School of Management, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). Born in 1962, he earned his master's degree from Tsinghua University's School of Economics and Management and his doctorate from USTC. His expertise spans logistics, supply chain management, operations management, and enterprise information systems. As Assistant Dean and Director of the EMBA Center, he has contributed significantly to academic administration while maintaining active roles in industry consultation. His practical experience includes work in government, enterprise, and academia. He has published over 40 academic papers and four books, while teaching courses in Operations Management and Business Models across MBA, EMBA, undergraduate, and graduate programs. He also serves as a committee member of Anhui Province Information Technology Expert Consultation Committee and advisor to the Anhui Logistics and Procurement Federation.

Luo Zhaofeng serves as the Deputy Director of the Nucleic Acid Aptamer Screening Center and has made significant contributions to laboratory management and research. Since 2007, he has focused on developing nucleic acid aptamer screening methods, while also managing high-end scientific equipment. Under his leadership, laboratory equipment utilization has exceeded 3,000 hours annually, significantly surpassing the national standard of 1,300 hours. He has demonstrated innovation through cost-effective solutions, such as developing in-house chips for biomolecular interaction testing that dramatically reduced expenses from 1,800 yuan to 100-200 yuan per unit. His work has contributed to establishing efficient public research platforms that enhance both educational and research capabilities.
