SWAYAM is India's national MOOC platform launched on July 9, 2017, by the Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD). It provides free online courses from Class 9 to post-graduation level, making quality education accessible to everyone. The platform operates through four quadrants: video lectures, downloadable reading materials, self-assessment tests, and discussion forums. SWAYAM employs cutting-edge pedagogy and multimedia tools to deliver courses across various disciplines, including science, engineering, humanities, law, and management.
