AI Expert Driving Intel's Deep Learning Framework and Vision Algorithms
I lead multiple AI projects within Intel's AI Products Group, where I contribute to the development of Intel’s deep learning framework, Neon, and design computer vision algorithms for applications ranging from satellite imagery to computational neuroscience. I joined Intel following its acquisition of the deep learning startup, Nervana Systems. I hold a PhD from Harvard University, where I combined neuroscience experiments with computational modeling to explore the role of recurrent neural networks in human vision. During my undergraduate studies in physics, I developed Ising models to analyze the statistical patterns of neuronal spiking in retinal ganglion cells. My research has been featured in renowned scientific journals such as Neuron, Scientific Reports, and eLife.
