About IHFC - Technology Innovation Hub of IIT Delhi

IHFC, established in 2020 as IIT Delhi's Technology Innovation Hub (TIH), focuses on collaborative robotics (cobotics), AI, human-robot interaction, and applications in healthcare, agriculture, defense, and Industry 4.0. Funded by DST's NM-ICPS with INR 170 Cr, it translates research into products, supports startups, and drives innovation.

The Office of Career Services (OCS) at IIT Delhi, previously the Training & Placement Cell, provides comprehensive support to students, including those involved in IHFC projects and programs. OCS facilitates job placements, internships, and industrial training for undergraduates, postgraduates, and PhD candidates across engineering, technology, and innovation fields. It organizes campus recruitment drives with top global companies, offering opportunities in core engineering, IT, consulting, finance, and research roles. Additionally, OCS conducts workshops on resume building, interview skills, aptitude training, and career counseling sessions to prepare students for competitive job markets. For IHFC affiliates, this extends to deep-tech sectors like robotics and AI, where specialized internships and startup mentorships bridge academia and industry. Alumni networking events and industrial tours further enhance employability. In recent seasons, OCS achieved notable success despite market challenges, with focused efforts on higher studies guidance for unplaced students.
